About the role

  • Process payroll from end to end, including timecard validation, employee data maintenance, payroll calculations, deductions, direct deposits, and paycheck distribution
  • The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently for a large, multi-state workforce.
  • This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 1x per quarter.

  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, address changes, and direct deposit updates
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and support government requests such as wage verifications and garnishment orders
  • Develop and deliver payroll-related training, resources, and process documentation to support employee understanding and compliance
  • The Payroll Analyst serves as a key liaison between Operations, Human Resources, and Finance to support timely payroll processing and an exceptional employee experience.

  • 1-2+ years of payroll, accounting, finance, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience processing payroll and maintaining confidential employee information preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll systems, payroll compliance, and reporting preferred

  • The expected California Pay Range for this position:
  • $27.34 - $30.42 USD
