- Engineer and maintain our core money platform capabilities, focusing on high availability, security, and scalability.
- You will support your peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design & analytics by participating in ideation, articulating technical constraints, and partnering on decisions that properly consider risks and trade-offs.

Requirements
- Proficiency in backend programming languages like Java or Go.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time spent in payments, billing, or financial technology.
- Deep understanding of the payment processing lifecycle, including authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Direct experience with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, PayPal).
- Demonstrated experience in architecting and operating large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems that handle financial data.
- The work is ambitious and often challenging, but it's grounded in a shared sense of purpose and a team committed to seeing it through together.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $183,250 per year.
- 8 paid holidays per year
