About the role
- In this role, you'll play a key part in executing employee lifecycle processes - everything from onboarding new hires to coordinating off boarding processes.
- You'll bring strong organizational skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for creating a seamless employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage US onboarding and off boarding processes including HR system workflows, background checks, I9 checks, and communications
- Partner with key stakeholders including IT and Payroll to onboard new hires and keep information up to date
- Support processing employee changes including compensation, relocation, and manager changes
- Maintain and organize internal documentation; regularly review and update documentation to reflect changing processes
- Manage HR team compliance efforts to ensure adherence to all federal and state labor laws

Requirements
- Additionally, if hired you will be required to attend in person onboarding.
- Entry-level role - no prior HR experience required

Compensation
- Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
- Figma provides paid sick leave, holidays, and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations.
- For non-exempt employees, PTO is accrued at a rate equivalent to 15 days per year for full‑time employees.
- Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles.
