Prepare technical reports and present to Test Facility Engineering Management.

Perform life cycle and root cause failure analysis of steam facility equipment, including boilers, cooling towers, condensers, and other high-temperature and high-pressure systems.
Research, plan, design, and develop new systems and operating profiles to increase test facility efficiency.
Perform thermal and heat transfer analysis on various test facility systems and components. - Support testing of the main propulsion and power generation equipment.
Maintain and develop preventative maintenance procedures and corrective maintenance planning for the overhaul and repair of systems and components.
Develop and maintain program-specific Pre and Post Test checklists. ****Please note this will be a swing shift****

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of mechanical and/or electrical engineering work experience
Master's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical engineering work experience.
Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Experience with the operation of propulsion and power plant machinery and/or Fluid and Thermodynamic Systems experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
U.S. citizenship required
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
$103,600.00 - $155,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
