Greenhill is focused on providing strategic and financial advice on significant mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and financings to corporations, partnerships, institutions and governments globally across industries.
Greenhill acts on behalf of clients throughout the world from its offices in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
Greenhill's Toronto office was established in 2006 has a strong presence in Canada with a team of 12 investment banking professionals (including three senior bankers) with considerable advisory experience.

Conduct extensive quantitative economic, industry and company research and analysis
Assist in the evaluation, preparation, due diligence and execution of M&A transactions (including the preparation of process marketing materials - e.g. Confidential Information Memoranda)
Assist in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships and assist senior bankers with idea generation
Experience in the execution of M&A transactions and process management is preferred
Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
Creativity and intellectual curiosity

The base salary for an Associate position ranges from C$175,000 to C$210,000 per year, depending on level of experience and seniority.
In addition to the base salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus (based on individual performance and team performance, among other factors), resulting in a competitive all-in compensation range for top performers.
