About the role

This role is for educators who thrive in a fast-moving digital environment and who believe that great live teaching is the core of great learning, regardless of the medium.

Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day, creating an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience that inspires student participation and achievement.
Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records that keep students and families informed and on track.
Live, synchronous, on-camera instruction is the heart of this role - it is what our students, families, and partner schools depend on every instructional day.

You have experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings and are comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom.

Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional, proactive communication that fosters trust and shared accountability for learning outcomes.
Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support across their learning experience.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and an active state teaching license in Oregon, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, and/or Wisconsin in Science grades 6-12..
You have hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.
