PV1 Order Verification: Perform first-level (PV1) verification of medication orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with prescriber intent prior to downstream review or dispensing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, prescribers, and operational teams to address escalated order issues, clarify prescriptions, and support safe and efficient workflow.
Documentation & Escalation: Document interventions, clarifications, and corrections according to pharmacy policy
Final Pharmacist Verification (PV2): Perform final clinical and dispensing verification of medications prior to release, confirming correct drug, dose, formulation, labeling, and patient instructions.

PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Experience reviewing medication orders, prescription data, or pharmacy workflows with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, electronic prescribing platforms, and verification workflows.
Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance compliance.
Strong ability to identify workflow inefficiencies, detect potential safety risks, and resolve order discrepancies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume verification environment while maintaining accuracy and patient safety.
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to sit for extended periods while performing order verification and data review

Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in state of residence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Previous experience with PV1, order entry verification, centralized pharmacy verification, or remote pharmacist workflows.
Experience in health-system, specialty, mail-order, or PBM pharmacy settings.
