Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.

Determines the type of pack required in accordance with information contained on documents and other packing and shipping instructions such as military standards, DOD Manuals, and regulatory requirements (HAZNAT, RAD).
5.Read specifications and photographs as/if required in DLA contract.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Minimum three (3) months general work experience which will demonstrate ability to perform requirements of position.
Outside work in hot and cold or wet weather is often required.
Protective devices are required to avoid injury.

No specific experience required.
High school diploma or GED required.
May substitute experience for education at the rate of one year of general experience for one year of high school.
Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
Packers who process material requiring HAZMAT Certification must be able to successfully pass training requirements.
Position may require travel.
