About the role

  • This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that combines architectural influence with deep execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Data Platform
  • Lead the architectural evolution of our data warehouse, modeling layer, and pipeline structure
  • Refactor core data models to support fast, self-serve access and shared understanding across teams
  • Build reliable ingestion and transformation systems that abstract over messy or fragmented inputs
  • Build in observability, alerting, and validation to ensure the platform can scale with confidence
  • Drive Strategic Data Initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Staff-level analysts, engineers, and data consumers to unblock their workflows and enable data insights.
  • Partner with software engineers to anticipate and manage upstream schema changes and database shifts

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a focus on building scalable, well-tested systems

Compensation

  • The range listed is just the base salary component of NexHealth's total compensation package for employees.
  • NexHealth Compensation Range
  • $180,000 - $240,000 USD
