About the role

  • The Regional Account Executive will work to win and close new logo contracts, as well as win expansion opportunities at existing accounts in their territory.
  • As the nation's most trusted school bus stop-arm technology solution, we serve over 350 school districts, protecting nearly 2 million students across 30,000 buses.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify sales targets, perform prospecting activities, and generate pipeline
  • Set client expectations and drive the procurement process with government and school district buyers
  • Develop and assist with key sales messages during the preparation of company proposals and RFPs
  • Create successful market strategies and mechanisms for your territory

Requirements

  • Required to travel independently locally and/or regionally
  • Significant experience with Salesforce.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 4+ years in complex solution selling environments (hybrid hardware/software experience is a plus)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Deep facilitation, problem solving, consensus building, and issue resolution skills
  • Significant experience with Salesforce. General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to have

  • Communicate with senior management through regular communications and regular use of Salesforce
  • Close long-term revenue contracts (New Logo and Expansion)
  • Comfortably network with Mayors, City Council members, City Managers, School District leadership, and school district transportation management
  • Report per company documentation requirements including timely CRM updates
  • Participate in collateral development and sales documentation, sales conferences, exhibitions, or trade events to enhance BusPatrol's profile
  • Comply with company policies and practices
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in a strategic sales role
  • Government / Public Sector (B2G/B2LG) experience preferred
