About the role
- This senior leadership position is ideal for a retired U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) professional with extensive federal construction, infrastructure, and project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead growth and management of the federal projects
- Develop and execute business development and market penetration plans
- Lead capture, proposal, and source selection efforts
- Support SBA Mentor-Protégé initiatives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve growth objectives
- The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for federal programs, cultivate client relationships, drive business development efforts, and oversee proposal and project execution activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in federal program management
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes
Nice to have
- Former USACE District, Division, or Headquarters leadership experience
- Experience supporting DoD clients
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar federal construction programs
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing
