Responsibilities
- Develops and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external laws and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Works with internal stakeholders to obtain, compile, and maintain data required to complete external reports.
- The School Compliance Analyst works under a specific school's direction to complete required documentation for both state-based approval agencies and programmatic accreditors.
- Five (5) years of related experience in higher education compliance, accreditation, or quality assurance
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university
- Knowledge of programmatic approval procedures in four or more jurisdictions
- Prior training as a quality examiner (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award preferred)
- Bi-lingual (writing and speaking)
Compensation
- $62,100.00 - $93,200.00
- The analyst works with academic and school personnel to ensure reports required by external regulators (e.g., self-studies, annual reports, ad hoc reports) are accurately completed.
- Prepares annual and ad hoc reports to maintain programmatic authorization including completing documentation to obtain approval by states' programmatic approving agencies (e.g., boards, departments, commissions).
