About the role

Description The Kids Corner Aide is responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for members' children within the Druid Hills Golf Club childcare center.
This role ensures high standards of safety, interaction, and cleanliness while supervising children ranging from 6 months to 12 years of age.
Actively engages with and supervises children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years old to ensure a safe and playful environment.

Maintains a strict 1:6 staff-to-child ratio, adhering to the center's maximum capacity cap of 12 children at any given time.
Manages the secure check-in and check-out process, ensuring parents or authorized guardians properly sign children in and out of the center.

Strong situational awareness and the ability to manage multiple children simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with children and communicate professionally with parents.
Knowledge of basic early childhood safety and behavior management.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must hold a valid CPR / First Aid Certification (or be willing to obtain it upon hire).
1+ years of experience working with children in a daycare, camp, babysitting, or recreational setting preferred.
