About the role

Ownwell is seeking a Texas-licensed ready Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans under Ownwell's Texas Mortgage Broker License.

Work inbound leads from Ownwell's homeowner platform and partner channels
Maintain accurate loan files and CRM documentation
Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and real estate partners
Maintain good standing with Texas SML and NMLS
Ability to manage multiple active loan files simultaneously

Must hold an active Texas Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with a minimum of 2 years of continuous licensing and origination experience
Strong understanding of mortgage products (conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo)
Must hold an active Texas Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license through NMLS with at least 2 years of experience

Active Texas MLO license (NMLS)
2+ years mortgage origination experience
Experience with refinance pipelines
Familiarity with mortgage CRMs and LOS platforms is preferred (Encompass, Blend, Floify, etc.)
