About the role
- The Verification & Validation (V&V) Deployment Engineer is responsible for supporting autonomous vehicle deployments, fleet expansion initiatives, software releases, and operational readiness activities.
- This role serves as the primary V&V representative in the field, ensuring vehicles, software, maps, and supporting systems are validated and ready for safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced deployment environments.
Responsibilities
- Deployment Support
- Support autonomous truck deployments, fleet launches, and operational expansions.
- Support vehicle commissioning, acceptance testing, and operational handoff activities.
- Develop and execute test plans for vehicle, software, and system-level validation.
- Perform route validation, map validation, regression testing, and release verification activities.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of field issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in Verification & Validation, vehicle testing, autonomous vehicles, robotics, ADAS, automotive systems, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of system-level testing and validation methodologies.
- Experience executing field tests and analyzing test results.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
