About the role
- Driver is to carry at all times while on duty and when on call.
- Vehicle Responsibility - Assigned Vehicle - Checks lights, fluid levels and safety equipment on a daily basis.
- Professionalism - Complies with hospital-directed dress code.
Responsibilities
- Assigned Vehicle - Checks lights, fluid levels and safety equipment on a daily basis. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness (interior and exterior) on a daily basis.
- Complies with hospital-directed dress code. Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Begins drives on time and is prepared for job responsibilities.
- Complies with on-call policy and maintains availability during schedule on-call periods.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must be approved by Rogers Memorial Hospital insurance carrier.
- Verbal and hearing ability to interact with patients and employees.
- Numerical ability required to maintain records.
- Must be able to read and communicate through written, verbal and auditory skills and abilities.
- Must be able to spend majority of their time driving.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in transporting people preferred.
