- Release coordination: Plan and coordinate feature releases-defining scope, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Competitive benchmarking: Analyze competitor offerings for performance (lumens/W), feature set (connectivity, controls), and pricing to inform positioning.
Responsibilities
- Requirement gathering: Work with sales, marketing, and customer support to collect and document feature requests, technical specs, and use-case requirements.
- Trend monitoring: Keep abreast of lighting trends (e.g., tunable white, circadian rhythms, human-centric design) and evolving standards (ENERGY STAR®, DLC).
- Engineering liaison: Collaborate with electrical, firmware, and mechanical teams to translate requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions.
- Post-launch iteration: Solicit field feedback, analyze product performance (thermal, optical, reliability), and drive continuous improvements or bug fixes.
- Customer feedback: Host regular check-ins with end-users to validate roadmap priorities.
- Supplier relations: Maintain strategic relationships with LED chip vendors, driver manufacturers, and optical component partners to secure roadmaps and favorable pricing.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the lighting, building, or construction industries is a plus, but not required.

Compensation
- $100,000 annually, plus a 15% annual bonus tied to product category performance.
