Responsibilities

  • On The Job As a web developer with a Craft CMS focus, activities are centered around building, customizing and supporting responsive digital using Craft CMS and front end development skills.
  • Must-Haves An appreciation for the interplay of design and development (including responsive design principles).
  • Demonstrated experience developing multiple responsive websites using Craft CMS.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of PHP/MySQL.
  • Ability to upgrade Craft CMS and add-ons (release-to-release and version-to-version).
  • Familiarity with historical versions of Craft CMS.
  • Experience using Git with Craft CMS.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A track record of writing code that is clean, understandable and cross browser compatible.
  • Working knowledge of device detection, cookies, sessions and/or CRON jobs.

Skills

  • AJAX, CodeIgniter, Nginx, Node.js, SOAP, XML.
  • Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js Professional certifications and/or educational degrees.
  • Scheduling flexibility and remote working opportunities (i.e. work/life balance is important).
