Responsibilities
- Employees may be directed to perform tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- May also perform duties for prior authorization, referrals (incoming/outgoing), good faith estimates, and/or payment collections.
Requirements
- Using CPR skills when required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills required to interact with patients, patients' families/visitors and clinical staff, including all levels of providers.
- Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
- Recertification every two year Required
Skills
- Computer knowledge, required.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Phlebotomy skills and experience, preferred.
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- National Healthcareer Association Required or
- American Medical Technologist Required or
- National Certified Medical Assistant
- National Center for Competency Testing Required or
- American Association of Medical Assistants Required
- Basic Life Support Certified

- Education Qualifications
- Two (2) years of related customer facing experience, preferably in healthcare. Required
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National Healthcareer Association Required or
- Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologist Required or
- National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing Required or
- Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants Required
