- Chemours is seeking a Manufacturing Technology (MT) Process Control Engineer to join our Chambers Works team!
- This position will report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Manager at our Deepwater, NJ location.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Process Controls and Safety Interlock Systems (preferably Honeywell DCS).
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering (ABET‑accredited).
- 2+ years of experience in Process Controls and Safety Interlock Systems (preferably Honeywell DCS).
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and methodologies.
Nice to have
- The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
- 5+ years of experience in Process Controls within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Experience with capital improvement projects, including detailed basic data development.
- Experience with process modeling and analyzing data from process historians and alarm management systems.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with Batch Automation and Sequencing.
- Familiarity with LOPA and Probability of Failure on Demand (PFD).
- Understanding of Alarm Management and Rationalization.
Skills
- Serve as Alarm and interlock guardian for the operations area.
- Assist with training operations and maintenance teams to improve site technical capability.
Compensation
- $97,843.00 - $152,880.00
