About the role
- This unit cares for a variety of issues such as hypertension, diabetes, sepsis, renal failure, liver failure, fracture, Osteomyelitis, pyelonephritis, pancreatitis and more!
- Medicine specialty functions in units called pods consisting of the RN, LPN, and CTA working together using our Collaborative Care Model.
- Our team works collaboratively as a unit which providing opportunities to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
- Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in accordance with policy and in collaboration with support staff.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
- 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
- 5+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
Nice to have
- Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
- Specialty certification(s) preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
