About the role

  • This unit cares for a variety of issues such as hypertension, diabetes, sepsis, renal failure, liver failure, fracture, Osteomyelitis, pyelonephritis, pancreatitis and more!
  • Medicine specialty functions in units called pods consisting of the RN, LPN, and CTA working together using our Collaborative Care Model.
  • Our team works collaboratively as a unit which providing opportunities to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in accordance with policy and in collaboration with support staff.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
  • 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
  • 5+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.

Nice to have

  • Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
  • Specialty certification(s) preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
