About the role
- Responsible for the leadership and management of the professional services activities of obstetrical services in collaboration with the unit manager.
- Responsible for all aspects of staff management, departmental management and for creating a professional practice environment that focuses on the patient.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Nurse licensure or degree in equivalent management position.
- Current BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certification required
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Nice to have
- Minimum of one (1) year Labor and Delivery nursing experience required, two (2) to five (5) years' experience preferred
