About the role
- Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their legal team.
- The associate attorney will provide legal representation to clients navigating the family court system, demonstrating strong advocacy skills, professionalism, and a commitment to justice.
- Conduct legal research and provide case strategy recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family court proceedings for divorce, custody, support, and protective orders.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage case files and deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant family law statutes and court procedures.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 2+ years of experience in South Carolina Family Court Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Litigation experience is required
Compensation
