About the role

  • Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their legal team.
  • The associate attorney will provide legal representation to clients navigating the family court system, demonstrating strong advocacy skills, professionalism, and a commitment to justice.
  • Conduct legal research and provide case strategy recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family court proceedings for divorce, custody, support, and protective orders.
  • Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Manage case files and deadlines efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant family law statutes and court procedures.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2+ years of experience in South Carolina Family Court Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Litigation experience is required

Compensation
