About the role

  • The Principal Analyst will play a critical role in evolving how pricing decisions are evaluated, tested, and executed.
  • The Principal Analyst will be part of the Business Analytics team, reporting to the Director of Ecommerce Analytics, and partnering closely with stakeholders across Category Management, Sourcing, Client Engagement, Finance, and Product & Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing analysis and decision support across the e-commerce store, including developing hypotheses, evaluating scenarios, and recommending actions
  • Design, execute, and analyze pricing tests
  • Build and maintain data models and dashboards to enable self-service insights and ongoing visibility into pricing performance
  • Partner with Product & Engineering to inform pricing capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and refine pricing approaches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive toward decisions
  • Experience evaluating prici ng approaches, building scenario models, designing experiments, and translating insights into actionable changes

Requirements

  • Applicants must have valid permanent work authorization in the U.S. (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident).

Nice to have

  • familiarity with Python or R for analysis is a plus

Skills

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets; familiarity with Python or R for analysis is a plus
  • Strong business intuition with a bias toward action
  • BA/BS or equivalent technical certification, preferably in a quantitative discipline

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $150,000–$175,000.
