Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plan interventions and incorporate therapeutic support into daily resident interactions
- Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution efforts while maintaining a positive and structured living environment
- Administer, document, count, and oversee medications in accordance with program procedures and training requirements, as applicable
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some experience in Human Services or a related field required
- Must complete Medication Administration training as required by assigned housing program
- Must successfully pass all required background screenings
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
- Associate degree in Behavioral Health Services or a related field may be considered
- Must successfully complete CPR and First Aid certification requirements
- Must complete annual TB testing and physical health screenings
Nice to have
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license
- Must be able to obtain a Chauffeur's Driver's License
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety rules, policies, procedures, and operating instructions
- Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and documentation accurately
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, follow direction, and work effectively under supervision
- Successful completion of background checks including criminal history, driving record, abuse/neglect screenings, and fingerprint checks required
- Use hands, fingers, and arms for repetitive tasks including typing, writing, and documentation throughout the work shift
