About the role
- Provides integrated support to patients and physicians by providing a 'hands-on" approach to total quality patient care through the coordination across specialty and retail services to ensure seamless patient transitions and timely access to medications. The pharmacist will be expected to manage retail pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective
- dispensing of medications, while also providing patient counseling and clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Provides integrated support to patients and physicians by providing a 'hands-on" approach to total quality patient care through the coordination across specialty and retail services to ensure seamless patient transitions and timely access to medications.
- The pharmacist will be expected to manage retail pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, while also providing patient counseling and clinical support.
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications;
- Identify trends, resolves problems; recommend improvements; implements change;
Requirements
- Required 1+ years, Preferred 5+ years experience in a retail dispensing setting
