About the role

Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with a diverse student body.
- Through proactive outreach and strong relationship-building, the role provides holistic, individualized support-helping students navigate college systems, identify strengths, overcome barriers, and connect to essential resources.
- Leadership, faculty, and staff strive to address inequities within our system by examining programming, policies, facilities, and operations that create barriers to student success in and out of the classroom.
Requirements
- An Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience.

Skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to flex hours as needed to coordinate college-sponsored events and student life programming.
- Bachelor's degree in social science, education, international studies, human services, or other related degree.
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to enhance student access and engagement.
- Experience working in a higher education student affairs, TRIO, or educational opportunity program setting.
- E xperience in event planning and marketing.
