About the role

  • This is an unlimited part-time position with a guaranteed 80% workload.
  • Activities related to college teaching and learning in the field of Human Services, including but not limited to the duties listed below:

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with department to maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a major in human services, social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or human development OR
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 16 graduate semester credits (24 graduate quarter credits) in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology OR
  • Master's degree with a major in sociology or counseling with 10 graduate semester credits (15 graduate quarter credits) in human services.
  • Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in human services, social work, clinical psychology, or counseling psychology.
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

Nice to have

  • Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of instructional technology, including online course delivery and classroom presentation technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, while also functioning in a team atmosphere.
