About the role

Requirements
- Associate degree in apparel design, fashion design, clothing design, or textiles and clothing
- The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
- Experience in Adobe Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
- Demonstrated ability to educate adult learners, multi-lingual learners, students with disabilities, and international students.
- Previous work experience in a post-secondary institution
- Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.
- To be qualified for this position, you must meet all minimum qualifications.

Compensation
- Compensation for under 5 credits is $1,650 per semester credit. Those teaching more than five credits are temporary part-time employees and can move to the faculty salary schedule.
- Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025-2027 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
