About the role
- The mission of the Anoka-Ramsey Academic Advising Office is to empower students to actively seek out resources to successfully complete their educational goals.

Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Director, this position develops and monitors a comprehensive assessment plan to ensure continuous improvement and serves as an organizational and team lead for assigned academic programs and student populations, ongoing activities, services, and work groups.

Requirements
- Ability to learn, understand, explain, and communicate a variety of degree requirements and policies.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of student needs including referrals to internal and external resources.
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- experience with and comfort utilizing multiple types of technology to provide advising services.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with early alert and/or student success software such as Navigate 360.
- Ability to plan, organize, and administer multiple activities and meet deadlines.
- Academic Advising provides a safe and respectful environment to collaborate with students on course selection, understanding degree requirements, and preparing for degree completion or credit transfer to other academic institutions.
- This position will be primarily located on the Rapids campus, with periodic work required at the Cambridge campus.
